White House announces French President Emmanuel Macron’s official visit on December 1
Washington – French President Emmanuel Macron will visit Washington in early December for the first official visit of President Joe Biden’s presidency.
His visit on December 1 will be his second state visit to the United States. Macronwas first elected to lead the country in May 2017 and won a second term earlier this year. Macron made an official visit during his Trump era.
White House Press Secretary Carine Jean-Pierre announced the visit on Monday, saying it “underlines our deep and enduring relationship with our oldest ally, France.”
