Speaking to NBC on Friday, the vice president condemned what she called an “activist court.” Harris made it clear that he was “extremely concerned” about the integrity of the entire courtroom. Democrats added that the current court is a separate court from that served by Justices Earl Warren, Thurgood Marshall and Sandra Day O’Connor.
“I think this is an activist court,” Harris said. “We had a right established for almost half a century. This is the right of women to make decisions about their bodies as an extension of what we have decided, and the privacy that all people have.” And this court quickly took up that constitution, and we suffer as a nation because of it.
The Biden administration has openly tried to circumvent the Supreme Court ruling. Recent decisions allow states to determine their own abortion policies.
