Owens then returned to his Tesla and hit the road, according to TMZ, which reports that police were not called to the scene.
The odds were stacked heavily against Owens’ opponent, who was facing a former professional athlete known for staying in top physical condition. Earlier this year, footage surfaced of Owens allegedly running a 40-yard dash in his 4.45 seconds. This is on par with or better than many of his current NFL wide receivers.
On top of that, Owens is 6 foot 3 and weighs around 230 pounds.
Owens was a polarizing player at the time and is considered one of the greatest receivers in football history. The former Chattanooga star never won a Super Bowl, but was a five-time First Team All-Pro before ending his NFL career with the Bengals in 2010. He made a comeback with the Seattle Seahawks in 2012. Owens has had several conflicts with civilians this year, including a racist confrontation with a neighbor in Florida, which ultimately went viral in August.
The other party, a 38-year-old white woman named Caitlin Davis, was subsequently charged with second-degree misdemeanor charges of lying to police about the incident and is scheduled to return to court in Broward County on December 6. DailyMail.com It remains unclear what specifically she is accused of lying about, but she said Owens was driving dangerously.
According to the reporting officer’s statement obtained by DailyMail.com, she was unable to support her allegations.
“He got out of the car and started harassing me,” Davis told the officer while Owens recorded the scene on his phone, derisively calling her “Karen.”
“But you didn’t have to get out of the car,” she yelled at Owens.
Owens replied, “You didn’t have to speak to me like that either.”
At this point, Davis brought race into the discussion by exclaiming, “You’re a black man approaching a white woman.”
In the midst of the escalating situation, Davis started crying.
“He literally followed me,” the woman sobbed.
Owens continued recording while cooperating with officers by providing identification.
“Welcome back,” said Owens, handing the police an ID.
“I’ve seen it, but I’ve never been a part of it,” Owens said, referring to the situation.
Owens continued to refer to Davis as “Karen,” which became a derogatory term for entitled white women exercising white privilege, as is usually seen in viral videos.
Owens, who played for the 49ers, Eagles, Cowboys and Bengals, captioned his video: “Karen is the real deal!!!!”
‘Wow! ! A normal night of being black in America,” he added.

“Regarding what happened last night…here is her. Real life, our neighbor Karen. Her name is Kaitlyn Davis.”
Most recently, Owens appeared on Chris Cuomo’s new show to discuss the affair.
“If the roles were reversed, they would be charging me within the law,” Owens said. “It’s not about me.”
“I’m just thinking of other people who may have been in this situation, and if they didn’t have the status or the means to do what I did, it would have been very different. maybe.
