Heavy rain and gusts call for first Friday weather warning day
North Texas (CBSDFW.COM) — Northern Texas issued its first warning weather day Friday as heavy rain, gusty winds and isolated flooding are expected during the morning commute and earlier in the day.

Storms and rain expected Friday afternoon through evening. Combined with very strong northerly winds and rain, afternoon temperatures will remain in the low 50s. However, the chance of rain is starting to decrease slightly for Friday night football!
Don’t worry about Thursday. High clouds are coming in from the southwest, so it will be a little windy in the afternoon. Highs will be in the mid 70’s for him so the weather will change tomorrow so let’s get our errands done today and tonight.
We should be watching for strong storms moving from west to west counties later tonight and all night.
There is still a severe weather threat Friday afternoon, but the threat is confined to the southeastern counties.
