CBS News poll: Republican primary voters more concerned Trump indictment is political

CBS News director of elections and research, Anthony Salvant, said in “Face the Nation” that Republican primary voters said the prosecution of former President Donald Trump was a national security risk. He said he was far more concerned that it was politically motivated than anything else, but said there was no evidence it would do any harm. His status as the clear frontrunner for the 2024 nomination, at least for now.
