A sticky and windy Black Friday takes place in South Central Texas

Be sure to bring rain gear with you before leaving the front door
After an on-set of Thanksgiving with fog and drizzle with showers and a few thunderstorms, the chances of rain will widen on Black Friday, and you can expect rain on and off for much of the day. .
Here’s what you need to know before you start trading for the weekend.
Friday

It rains…meaningful rain…useful rain is expected across south central Texas

Widespread rainfall will vary in intensity throughout the day, with heaviest rainfall expected during the afternoon and evening hours

Before the day is over, you should watch for puddles on the side of the road, in addition to a few minor flooding issues in poorly drained/low-lying areas and common trouble spots.
