The astonishing video captured the moment the car plunged off the embankment and landed on the roof, miraculously saving the four people inside.

5 minute clip from Google Nest camera posted online YouTube User Julia Brown shows a white sedan suddenly crashing down the steps of Sanchez Street at a quiet San Francisco intersection in the late afternoon sun.

The car overturned as it rolled onto the road, knocking over trees and hitting a parked car as it landed on the roof.

The video was captioned, “It’s amazing how they all seem to walk away.” Miraculously, no one in the vicinity was attacked. “

Video footage posted on YouTube shows multiple angles of the car crashing through a guardrail, tumbling onto the road and landing on a roof.

Soon, bystanders ran to the car, pried open one of the doors, and began helping people out of the overturned vehicle.

More witnesses, including some who got in and stopped to help, then ran to the overturned car to see what they could do.

No one was walking on or under the stairs when the devastating crash occurred.

The Good Samaritans managed to rescue four passengers from the vehicle, but no one appears to have been seriously injured.

San Francisco Fire Department troops arrived at the crash site shortly afterward, but no one remained at the scene.

In the video, someone can be heard saying “I’m sorry, I’m so sorry” and “I have to go.”

A second clip posted by Brown shows the car crashing through a guardrail on the road at the top of the stairs.

A car occupant was seen leaving the scene, including a man with a skateboard and a woman who appeared to be running away after putting on her shoes.

As more onlookers gather from all sides, two of the car’s occupants are seen escaping the crash by climbing a flight of stairs.
