Shark Tank investor, 74, becomes TikTok star Caleb Simpson31, tours her doublewide at Pacific Palisades for his viral Video series exploring interesting living spaces New York City and around the world.

About a year ago, Ms. Simpson caught up with Mr. Corcoran, who was showing him around his Manhattan apartment while taking out the trash.

“Who would have thought Barbara Corcoran would have her own trailer?” Simpson asked as she brought him up the stairs. “It’s called a double-wide,” she corrected him

“It’s called a double wide,” she corrected him.

From the outside, the property looks like any other mobile home, with cream siding, blue shutters, and a wooden staircase leading to the front door.

But inside, it’s a perfectly decorated oasis of calm, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors and a terrace overlooking the sea.

“This is my Taj Mahal,” Corcoran said after opening the Dutch door to his second home. “It’s all about the little things”

The businessman told Mr. Simpson that he spent $800,000 on the house itself and invested another $150,000.

“So you live in a million dollar house,” she said.

The spacious mobile home’s open floor plan features a large living room, dining area, and small kitchen with additional counter seating.

Keeping with the home’s Californian flair, we placed a brown wicker coffee table in a cream U-shaped cross section and a round white dining table with wicker chairs.

“This is my Taj Mahal,” Corcoran said after opening the Dutch door to his second home. “Everything is trivial”

The trailer house’s open floor plan includes a large living room with a U-shaped cross section and a rattan coffee table that fits the California feel of the space.

There is also a small dining area and a kitchen with additional counter seating.

Corcoran said her blue and white kitchen tiles are leftover tiles from a $15 million penthouse in New York City.

“Do you recognize this tile?” she asked Simpson, pointing to the kitchen. “This is a tile left over from New York.”

Navy and white tiles are paired with white cabinets, natural wood countertops and her favorite light blue Smeg refrigerator.

“Look how small it is,” she exclaimed as she opened the door. “There’s nothing but wine in it.”

“I think I like it better here than in New York City,” Simpson admitted.

The next stop on the tour is the main bathroom with sink, toilet and large shower with glass door.

“I put my head to the shower with all my might,” she said.

Corcoran hopped Ms. Simpson onto the bed in the primary suite—just as Ms. Simpson toured the New York City penthouse.

The tile is paired with white cabinets, natural wood counters, and a light blue Smeg fridge that she loves.

“Look how small it is,” she exclaimed as she opened the door. “I only have wine”

The next stop on the tour is the main bathroom with sink, toilet and large shower with glass door.

Corcoran’s pair-down bedroom features white furnishings, a tan rug, and pale pink bedding.

Spacious bedrooms are flooded with sunlight and have doors leading to outdoor terraces. There is also a private bathroom with a large bathtub.

“I paid more for this item than I paid for all the furniture,” she admitted, but she probably got her money’s worth.

“Two baths a day, right?” Simpson asked.

“How do you know I take two baths?” she replied.

Corcoran’s second bedroom has a large bed and two nightstands, but she prefers the half-bedroom with the bed pushed up against the window.

“I love this bedroom,” she said.

Corcoran and Simpson then went out onto a deck with an outdoor table and lounge chairs.

“You’re a terrace girl,” he said.

“I paid more for this than I paid for all the furniture,” she said of the bathroom’s deep soaking tub.

Corcoran seemed to like the semi-bedroom, with the bed pushed up against the window.

“Yes,” she confirmed. “Actually, I’d rather live outside.”

Corcoran said the ocean view was what made him decide to buy the double-wide.

“I saw this trailer park and I thought it was my favorite because of the scenery,” she explained, knocking on the door and offering to buy it.

The previous owner told her he planned to sell it within a year, but the investor made her an offer she couldn’t refuse.

“I said, ‘No, I really want it now.’ “But what if you could use it whenever you wanted, for the rest of your life?” she recalled. “Then she said, ‘Yeah, that’s fine,’ and she sold it to me.”

After the tour, the Shark Tank star had Simpson and the photographer hang mirrors in the spare bedroom to work.

Corcoran grew up in a working-class family in Edgewater, New Jersey, before starting his own real estate brokerage firm, Corcoran Group, which he sold for $66 million in 2001.

Then Corcoran and Simpson went out onto a deck with an outdoor table and chairs.

Corcoran said he made the owner an offer he couldn’t turn down, saying it was the view of the ocean that made him decide to buy the doublewide.

Corcoran’s latest home tour video has garnered 5.2 million views, and many were impressed that the self-made millionaire lives in a luxurious trailer park.

After the tour, the Shark Tank star had Simpson and the photographer hang mirrors in the spare bedroom to work.

She has two children, an adult son Tom Higgins and a teenage daughter Kate Higgins, with her husband Bill Higgins, a retired Navy captain and FBI agent.

As an investor in the four-time Emmy-winning ABC show Shark Tank since 2009, she has invested in over 80 companies.

Corcoran’s latest home tour video has been viewed 5.2 million times and received over 2,000 comments from fans.

Many shared how much they loved Simpson and Corcoran’s hilarious banter and friendship.

Others were clearly impressed that the self-made millionaire lived in even a fancy trailer park.

One TikTok user shared, “I love how she chose a mobile home with a view when she could easily buy a seaside mansion.”

“I love my house, but [a] A million dollar beachfront trailer park could only exist in LA,” others noted.
