Are liquor stores open in Texas on New Year’s Day?

It happened on Christmas and it’s happening again on New Year’s. Of course, here in Texas, liquor stores are already closed on Sundays.

You can’t buy alcohol, but you can give your employees the time off they need because the holidays are one of the busiest seasons.

M&R Liquor owner Charles Leard said: “It’s been great for me and my employees.”

The liquor store also hopes to take care to drink responsibly this New Year and plan abstinence from alcohol.
