Corrections Policy
We publish quickly, and sometimes we get things wrong. When we do, we fix it in the open rather than quietly.
How to report an error
Email texasnewstoday.com@gmail.com with the article URL, the specific statement you believe is incorrect, and any supporting evidence. We review every message and respond to substantive reports within 7 business days.
How we handle corrections
Factual corrections. Where an article contains a material factual error, we correct the text and add a dated correction note at the foot of the article explaining what was wrong and what has changed. We do not delete the original claim without explanation.
Clarifications. Where an article is accurate but unclear or open to misreading, we amend it and add a clarification note.
Updates. Where a developing story changes, we update the article and record the update date. The original publication date remains visible.
Minor changes. Typographical and formatting fixes that do not affect meaning are made without a note.
Removal requests
We do not remove published articles on request as a matter of course, because doing so undermines the public record. We will consider removal or amendment where an article is shown to be factually inaccurate, where publication creates a demonstrable safety risk, or where legal proceedings have concluded in a way that materially changes the facts reported.

Right of reply
Any individual or organisation named critically in our reporting may request a right of reply. We will publish a fair response, or update the article to reflect it, where the request is substantiated.
