This year’s NBA Playoffs felt like a changing of the guard. Ja Morant, Luka Doncic and Jayson Tatum all made The Leap while Chris Paul, Joel Embiid and Giannis Antetokounmpo watch from home as the Warriors and Celtics face off in the Finals. Hell, LeBron’s Lakers didn’t even make the playoffs! feel things Newand new feels good.
One thing has stayed the same: NBA players still dress aggressively, and it seems certain that the NBA is still the most stylish sports league in the world. With the 2022 NBA champion soon to be crowned, we want your help in presenting a different kind of award. Welcome to GQ’s annual Most Stylish NBA Player tournament.
The 16-player bracket is stacked; It might not be an easy matchup between them. Still, there are highlights: Courtside king Ben Simmons will go up against the guy he traded for (and no lout in style) in James Harden. Old head PJ Tucker and young Gun Jaren Jackson Jr. will stare. And All-Stars D’Angelo Russell and Kyle Kuzma will compete against each other. Things are a little younger this year – but that should keep things interesting.
The 16 fittest connoisseurs in the league compete NOW in a five-day, five-round competition to determine the best-dressed player in the league. Each round lasts 24 hours. And it’s all happening on GQ Sports’ Instagram. Cast your vote every day, keep checking back for updates, and stay here to see who’s holding up the GQ Most Stylish NBA Player trophy on the last buzzer.
