Virginia Removes Richmond’s Robert E. Lee Statue Pedestal: “Successful Conclusion”

Governor Ralph Northam announced on Sunday that the pedestal, where the controversial statue of General Robert E. Lee stood in Richmond, Virginia for 131 years, will be removed.
