US Senator John Cornyn of Texas has tested positive for COVID-19.
“After avoiding it for 2+ years, I tested positive for COVID-19,” the Republican said Monday on Twitter.
Cornyn said he is feeling fine and will be working remotely during his recovery.
The MP said he was fully vaccinated and boosted.
After avoiding it for 2+ years, I tested positive for COVID-19. I am fully vaccinated and boosted and doing well. While quarantined, I will continue to fight Chuck Schumer and Joe Manchin’s massive tax hike for remote working families, in line with CDC guidelines.
