Beach volleyball US April Ross and Alix Klineman, who won their first match against China over the weekend, will face Spain in a pool play match from CNBC’s Shiokaze Park at 8 pm.
Gymnastics NBC Prime Time will broadcast the finals of the men’s gymnastics team at 8:30 pm. US boys haven’t won medals at the Olympics since finishing third at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.
Water polo CNBC will play a men’s water polo game with South Africa at 9 pm.
swimming NBC will hold men’s and women’s swimming finals at events such as men’s 200m freestyle, men’s and women’s 100m backstroke, and women’s 100m breaststroke. All of this begins at 9:30 pm after losing 400 meters of freestyle to Arian Titoms. Katie Ledecky of Australia tries to win a gold medal in the 200m freestyle.
tennis Francis Tiafo of the United States will face Greece’s Stefano Stichipas in the second round of men’s singles, starting at 10 pm on the Olympic Channel. Following the match, the Olympic Channel will also broadcast the third round of women’s singles and the men’s and women’s doubles quarterfinals.
basketball USA Network will play a women’s match against Nigeria at 12:40 am
