San Antonio – Friday University Health has reopened the Wonderland of the Americas Mall COVID-19 vaccination site to administer Pfizer booster shots.

COVID-19 booster shots are available to people over the age of 65 and people over the age of 18 who are at high risk of severe COVID-19 infection due to their underlying health condition.
Those who are eligible for the booster must wait at least 6 months after the second dose to get the next shot. They will be asked to bring a document of the previously administered Pfizer vaccine.
“It’s okay to get boosters later, and it might be a better choice if the vaccine site is initially crowded. Pfizer booster shots are widely available and as long as demand continues. We will continue to provide them, “University Health said in writing.
Next week’s opening hours at the Wonderland location will be posted on the University Health website on Friday afternoon. Click here for more information on how to get booster shots and other University Health locations.
