Supreme Court sided with President Biden in ending Trump-era Stay Mexico policy

The Supreme Court ruled in favor of Biden 5-4
WASHINGTON “The Supreme Court ruled Thursday that the Biden administration rightly ended Trump-era politics by forcing some American asylum seekers to wait in Mexico.”
The judges’ decision 5-4 for the administration came in a case on the “Stay in Mexico” policy under President Donald Trump.
President Joe Biden halted the program on his first day in office in January 2021. But lower courts ordered its reinstatement in response to a lawsuit from Republican-led Texas and Missouri. The current administration has sent far fewer people back to Mexico than the Trump administration.
