Cairo (Reuters) -Sudanese Prime Minister Abdullah Hamdok said on Saturday that he had dismissed Lieutenant Khaled Mahdi Ibrahim al-Emmam and his deputy.

Lieutenant Annan Hamed Mohammed Omar has been appointed as the new police chief, and Maj. Gen. Mudasil Abd al-Rahman Nasul Aldin has been appointed Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary, Hamdock posted on Twitter.
