Although it won’t rain all day every day, storms – some severe – are on the map. Here’s what you need to know about the weather this week:
MONDAY EVENING (40%)

Short-term precipitation and thunderstorms are possible. The probability of rain is 40%.
TUESDAY (30%)

There may be prolonged rain on Tuesday.

In the afternoon, several bouncing thunderstorms will be possible. Any storms that develop can become severe, but the cover will be insulated (30%).
NIGHT TUESDAY / WEDNESDAY MORNING (70%)

A cold front will move through South Central Texas, with the probability of a storm increasing after 22 hours

Again, some strong storms will be possible, and torrential rains are not ruled out

Wednesday’s morning trip can be damp and messy

The probability of precipitation falls from the forecast until Thursday. Memorial Day weekend looks rainless and hot as highs go back to the 1990s.
