Pittsburgh Steelers offensive lineman Trea Turner was sent off from the second week’s match against the Las Vegas Raiders after appearing to spit on his opponent.
After the match on Sunday, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin came to Pro Bowler’s five-time defense and said someone first spit on Turner’s face.

“Someone spit on his face. He gained control of the game, understanding the penalties of 15 yards and more. But Try is not a young man. He is not overly emotional. He Is a flat liner. I was telling them what happened to make him react like him, “Tomlin said through Triblive.
“I didn’t think he did enough to get him out of the football game.”
Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, who was seen comforting Turner, said the guards said he had spit on him.

Turner was penalized for acts contrary to sportsmanship after a quarrel with Raiders defensive lineman Solomon Thomas, and aggressive guards were thrown out of the game.
The five-time Pro Bowler joined the Steelers in the off-season after playing the 2020 season at the Los Angeles Chargers.
He started his career at the Carolina Panthers and played 84 games at the Carolina before joining the Chargers and then the Steelers. Pittsburgh has added Turner as an upgrade along the attack line to protect the aged Roethlisberger, who was fired twice against the Raiders. Turner made the Pro Bowl from 2015 to 2019.

The Raiders defeated Pittsburgh 26-17, improving to 2-0. The Steelers fell 1-1.
