London (Reuters) -Italy and England entered extra time in the Euro 2020 final after spending 90 minutes at Wembley Stadium on Sunday. The score level was 1-1.
England fed the right-hand side Kelan Tripia after breaking out of the Italian corner, and one minute 57 seconds later, when Luke Shaw on the left back drilled his illustrious cross home for the first time, he was the fastest in the Euro final. I scored a goal.
But Italy pulled the level on the 67th when England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford pushed Marco Verratti’s header to the post and Leonardo Bonucci jumped into the loose ball.
Italy is undefeated in 33 games, but England wants the first major trophy since the 1966 World Cup.
