Sheriff Salazar provides up-to-date information on human bodies found in Bexar County, southeast

San Antonio – Sheriff Javier Salazar provides updates on Saturday about the body found on the side of the road in Bexar County, southeast.

The briefing is set at 12:00 pm on the corner of Pleasanton and W Harlan Avenue. You can see the latest information on Sheriff Salazar on the video player above.

County workers were picking up trash in the area on Thursday afternoon when they found a “heavier than normal” wrapped bundle at 9200 blocks on SWW White Road near Higdon Road. Sheriff Salazar also said the area is known for illegal dumping.

According to Salazar, the human body was wrapped in a tarpaulin and “discarded by the side of the road.”

The sheriff’s office said it was unclear whether the body was male or female, or how old the individual was.
