Elon Musk recently revealed that Twitter has an internal Slack channel called “Fauci Fan Club.”

The tweet was part of a thread highly critical of Dr. Anthony Fauci and his claims about the benefits of gain-of-function research. In a previous post, I talked about how Fauci previously argued that the benefits of gain-of-function research far outweigh the risks.

His argument in the paper was that the risk of a pandemic outbreak contained in the study was very small compared to the knowledge gained from it.

Another criticism of the doctor is that it is his wife, Christine Grady, who is supposed to monitor him and make sure he is behaving in an ethical manner, which is itself a non-compliance. It was ethical.

This was met with outrage after Twitter Files recently revealed how the social media platform monitored and censored certain information about COVID, and what was made public.

Musk also asked Community Notes, the open source data source, to amend or correct the thread in which this information was revealed.
