West Palm Beach, Florida (AP) — Florida prosecutors say Robert Kraft, owner of the New England Patriots, is paying for sex in a massage parlor, according to a court document filed Wednesday. I asked the judge to save the video showing.
The alleged misconduct against Kraft was withdrawn in September after the Court of Appeals ruled that video evidence could not be used in this case.
However, Palm Beach County state prosecutor David Aromberg claims that a civil suit is still pending that the video could be used as evidence.
“The state attorney’s office cannot legally or ethically agree to destroy evidence associated with this known pending proceeding,” Aromberg said in a court filing.
Kraft’s attorney asked a judge in the Court of Appeals to order the video to be destroyed so that it could not be made publicly available.
Police say they recorded a widow craft paying for sexual activity at Jupiter Spa in January 2019. Kraft pleaded not guilty, but publicly apologized for his actions.
