Princess Beatrice has given birth to her first child, daughter, with her husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Buckingham Palace has announced.
The Queen’s granddaughter, 33, welcomed a £ 6-2 ounce baby girl at 11:42 pm on Saturday at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London. The baby’s name has not yet been revealed.
This baby is the second grandson of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, and the queen’s twelfth great-grandson after the arrival of Prince Harry and Markle’s second child, Lillivet, in the summer.
Beatrice’s baby is 11th in succession to the throne, but her mother is a princess, but she doesn’t have a throne. Only the grandchildren of the monarch through the male line are automatically eligible for HRH styling.
This means that he or she will be a Plain Master or Miss Maperimozzi. The Queen can give her great-grandchild a title if needed, but it is unlikely that she will be asked for it.
Beatrice said in a tweet from her official Twitter account that she was pleased to “share the news of the couple’s daughter’s safe arrival,” adding: “Thank you for the wonderful care of the midwifery team and everyone in the hospital.”
Beatrice and Edo, who got married in 2020, also said they were looking forward to introducing their daughter to their brother Wolfie. Her mother is a former Dara fan of Edo.

BEATRICE’s BABY DAUGHTER is the latest in the long line of QUEEN’S GREAT-GRAND CHILDREN
Princess Beatrice’s baby girl is the Queen’s twelfth great-grandson.
The royal toddler arrived just months after the death of his great-grandfather, Duke of Edinburgh.
The hordes of great-grandchildren of the monarch swelled in 2021, Princess Eugenie had a baby son in February in August, and Zara Tindall had a third child, Lucas, in March.
Lili Mountbatten Windsor, daughter of the Duchess of Sussex, was born in June, just two months after the death of 99-year-old Philip.
The Queen’s great-grandchildren are: Savannah and Isla Phillips. Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis of Cambridge. Mia, Lena, Lucas Tindal. Archie Mountbatten-Windsor and his sister Lili; August Brooks Bank; and Princess Beatrice’s new arrival.
The baby was born 11th in succession to the throne.
The first 10th place remained the same, and new members of the family were below Beatrice and above Eugenie, who dropped to 12th place.
The children of Cambridge call their great-grandmother Queen Gangan, and the monarch leaves a small gift in his great-grandson’s room whenever they stay.
When she was introduced to George shortly after George was born in 2013, it was the first time in about 120 years that the monarch met the future king three generations ahead.
“Both her Highness and her children are doing well, and the couple is looking forward to introducing their daughter to her brother Christopher Woolf.”
The official Twitter accounts of Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall welcomed the birth of Beatrice and Edoardo’s baby daughter.
According to the tweet, “Congratulations on the happy news of the birth of Princess Beatrice and the daughter of Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.”
The royal family tied a knot with Edo in September 2020, and this is their first child together.
Her baby is 11th in succession to the throne and her mother is a princess, but she is an ordinary Miss Mozzi and a brother of Wolfie, the son of Edo.
Beatrice’s baby is the second grandson of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, and the queen’s twelfth great-grandson after the arrival of Prince Harry and Markle’s second child in the summer.
York’s sister will be one of the few royal mothers raising children in a mixed family after having a daughter this weekend.
Edo already has a five-year-old son, Christopher Woolf, known as Wolfie, along with his ex-fiancé Dara Fan. American architect Dara is on good terms with her ex and his new wife, and Beatrice is her stepmother.
Beatrice also became an aunt earlier this year when her sister Eugenie gave birth to her first child, August, with her husband Jack Brooksbank on February 9.
Beatrice is the only princess in the British royal family to marry a child and someone and take on the stepchild. The only other step-parent of the Queen’s immediate family is Prince Charles, the son of Camilla Parker Bowles when he got married in 2005 and the stepfather of his daughter Laura.
Beatrice, who had previously talked about her son-in-law, said: I’m not going to lie. Sadly, I can’t blame dyslexia. However, I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to work with Bonus’ son (Wolfie) while the school was closed. It was a big learning curve for all of us. ”
