Prince William and Kate Middleton brought special guests and lucky charms to Wembley Stadium and saw England face Italy in the Euro 2020 final on Sunday.
Prince George cheered Britain with his parents, wearing red and blue ties and sharp blazer. The couple’s eldest son, seven, was much like the president of the Football Association, a similarly dressed father. Kate wore a white blazer and respected the colors of her country.
George responded enthusiastically to England’s early goals during the match, applauding his father and laughing hard. Then he went to hug his mother during the celebration.

George’s full cheers instantly became a meme on British social media.
Before the game, William shared a video message on Instagram that the whole team wished for “best luck.”
“I wish all members of the England team good luck tonight, both on and off the bench. How was the team’s performance?” He said. “Every member of the team played their own role. All background teams were really essential.”
“You pull out the best of England and we are all behind you. The whole country is behind you, so take it home,” he added.
The game was also attended by David Beckham and Tom Cruise in impressive suits. They celebrated England’s early goals with fist bumps.
The celebration was short-lived. After Luke Shaw’s early goals, Italy scored before the regulations. Italy continued to win the penalty shootout that broke England’s heart.
