Posthumous Chuck Berry live album released in December

New York – Dualtone Records celebrates Chuck Berry’s birthday by announcing the release of a live album from the rock and roll legend.

“Live From Blueberry Hill” is taken from a performance recorded between July 2005 and January 2006 at the Blueberry Hill Cafe in St. Louis, one of Berry’s favorite places. The album will be released on December 17th.

The album features classic tearing berries such as “Roll Over Beethoven,” “Sweet Little Sixteen,” and “Johnny B. Good.” In 1986, he became one of the first artists to be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. His 95th birthday would have been Monday.

Other songs on the live album include “Rock’n’Roll Music”, “Let It Rock”, “Carroll / Little Queeny”, “Around and Around”, “Nadeen”, “Mean Old World”.

Berry has opened a duck room in a cafe that hosts live music and has held more than 200 concerts each month for 17 years.
