Police say Garland was abducted by her teenage ex-boyfriend

Yadhira Medina, 17, was pulled into a pickup truck against her will by 20-year-old David Emanuel Maldonado, Garland police said. The other suspect was driving the vehicle.

GARLAND, Texas – Garland, Texas, police are calling for help Find a 17 year old boy She is believed to have been abducted by her ex-girlfriend on Saturday night.

According to them, witnesses saw Yadhira Medina being dragged against her will into a White Ford or GM pickup truck with black or silver trim. It happened on West Buckingham Road at around 8.30pm.

Witnesses identified the suspect as Yadhira’s ex-boyfriend, 20-year-old David Emanuel Maldonado.

Police saw the truck being driven by another suspect and heading west on Buckingham Road.

Yadhira Medina is a Spanish woman who stands five feet tall. He has brown eyes and wears glasses. Medina has reddish-brown hair and was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, black sweatpants and a black backpack.

David Maldonado is a Hispanic man standing 5 feet 7 inches tall with brown eyes and black hair. There is no description of what he was wearing or what the driver looked like.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of either is asked to call 911 or 972-485-4840.

Garland police say Youth Crimes detectives are investigating the situation as a kidnapping and believe the 17-year-old is in danger. The Texas Department of Public Safety is activating an Amber Alert.
