San Antonio – This holiday season, you’ll have the opportunity to skate downtown Travis Park in San Antonio on the Valero-gifted rotary ice rink.
According to the event’s organizer, the Rotary Club of San Antonio, the ice rink, a popular attraction in the last few years, has returned to the city of Alamo after the 2020 hiatus.
This year, the ice rink will officially open from November 19th to January 17th. Skating tickets will be available on RotaryIceRink.com from October 1st.
The skating time is as follows.
Monday to Thursday 4 pm to 9 pm
Friday, 4 pm to 10 pm
Saturday from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm
Sunday, noon to 8 pm
School holidays, 11am to 10pm
Organizers are advised to purchase tickets in advance to ensure admission to the link. Tickets can also be purchased at the ice rink, but the number may be limited.
The organizer told KSAT that skaters who plan to buy tickets directly will see a QR code to buy tickets on their smartphones. If the current skate time is fully booked, other available skate times will be offered.
The park is next to the main sponsor, the St. Anthony Hotel, along with Frostbank, Papedawson Engineer, Centro San Antonio, and current sponsor Valero.
Details will be published as they become available.
