Pickup truck crashes into a Southwestside home

San Antonio – San Antonio police are working to identify how the pickup truck crashed into a Southwestside home early Thursday morning.

The crash occurred around 2:50 am at my home in 2800 blocks on West Gerald Avenue, not far from New Laredo Highway and Quintana Road.

According to police, a pickup truck driver crashed in front of the house and pushed the front wall of the house. The exact reason for the crash is unknown.

SAPD said it is trying to sort out the details of the crash and is working to identify who was driving. The person they are talking to claims that the truck was stolen.

Both the San Antonio Police Station and the San Antonio Fire Department answered the phone.

No injuries have been reported.
