In the United States, an average of 22 people die each day while waiting for an organ transplant. A group of researchers at Harvard University wants to use cloned porcine cell organs to eventually change their statistics. Their method uses a powerful technique called CRISPR to edit animal DNA. Dr. David Agas will participate in “CBS This Morning” to discuss the findings.
