One adult and three children were injured in a car accident in Fort Worth

FORT WORTH (CBSDFW.COM) – At least four people, including three children, were hospitalized after a car collided with a group of pedestrians in Fort Worth.

Fort Worth police said officers were dispatched to the intersection of McCartney Avenue and Sycamore School Road on Sunday, June 5, at about 5:41 p.m., following a major pedestrian accident.

The Fort Worth Fire Department and MedStar units also intervened at the scene.

When they arrived, officers learned that two vehicles, a “passenger” and an SUV, had collided. One of the cars then overturned a group of pedestrians, including an adult and three children.

The adult was taken to Harris Downtown in critical condition. Three children were taken to Cook Orphanage. Two of the children are believed to be in critical condition.

Police are investigating.
