An Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) vehicle crashed into an Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) vehicle Thursday morning, resulting in an explosion.
The crash happened at 7:20 a.m. on Interstate 77 in Green, Ohio, when the bus struck an ODOT car, which was not moving on the state’s shoulder, according to the office of the Summit County Sheriff’s Office.

According to the police department, the two drivers were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, but a Facebook post from ODOT says his employee is being treated for serious injuries, but not threats.
“We are very fortunate to have him alive,” the ODOT post said.
ODOT said the incident was the 82nd time one of its employees had been beaten this year.

The crash was captured on video by ODOT traffic cameras and showed the car falling into the car, then going out of the shoulder into the fire.
The accident is being investigated by the Summit County Police Department.
