Officials say he wanted a man in a murder in Ellis County arrested by Houston police

Waxahachie, Texas-The Houston Police Department has arrested a man who wanted a murder in Ennis last month, officials said.

Around 8 am on Thursday, Houston police detained Trenton James Adams. He faces murder with the death of Jordan von Hoffman.

The Ellis County Sheriff’s Office found Hoffman’s body on March 24 at Ensign Road, 6900 blocks in Ennis. His death was ruled as a murder by the Dallas County Medical Inspector’s Office.

The Ellis County Sheriff’s Office said it found evidence linking the deaths of Adams and Hoffman during the investigation.

As of Thursday morning, Adams has been transferred to the Harris County Sheriff’s Office for prosecution.

Officials said Adams would be booked for murder in Waxahachie’s Ellis County prison when charged.
