Authorities in the commercial county of Fairfax, Virginia, announced in a tweet that they were looking for a rapper in Washington DC on Sunday.

The Fairfax County Police Department said they were looking for Noah Settles, the real name of the musician.

In a search for a graphic poster posted by the department on Twitter, police said they were looking for him for “malicious attempted wounds.”

The graphic designer also said he was wanted for three offenses for unloading a weapon on an occupied building.

Authorities are seeking redress for using a firearm to commit a crime.

In the tweet, the police department also posted a photo of him wearing a white Settles T-shirt on his head.

According to local WFXR news, police say Nettles fired a gun several times after entering into an argument with another group of people.

Police said Nettles left the scene in a Cadillac vehicle with a Washington DC license plate.

The shooting blocked the entire building of the mall, with some shoppers locked inside the shops.

No one was injured in the incident.

“We’re always lucky if there are no injuries,” Fairfax County Chief Kevin Davis said after the incident.

“When shots are fired inside a shopping mall or anywhere else in America and no one is shot or deadly,” he continued.

Fairfax County police are urging anyone with advice or information on their whereabouts to enforce the law.

Authorities said people with information could call 911 to provide full details.
