Nine characters hoping to come back for a restart of “Sex and the City”

Sarah Jessica Parker, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis are back to shoot a reboot of “Sex and the City”, “And Just Like That”. Fans of the beloved series are excited to see most of the cast come back together.

Fans were also surprised on Monday when actress Bridget Moynahan was photographed shooting the scenes in the series. Fans will admit that Moinahan plays Mr. Big’s second wife, Natasha, in the series.

The fact that Natasha is joining this new series deserves its own article full of theory and guessing what’s going on, but who else enjoys seeing pop-ups in the new series? I couldn’t help wondering.

It has already been confirmed that the characters of Big, Steve Brady, Harry Golden Brady, Stanford Blatch and Anthony Marentino will all restart, but the woman has many other friends and ex-boyfriends. I hope you will come back again.

Now let’s take a look at some of the most beloved characters in “Sex and the City” and explain why it’s best to restart.

1. Aidan Show (John Corbett)

If you saw “Sex and the City,” you were either Team Big or Team Aidan. The writer was (and still is) Team Aidan, but Carrie became big at the end of the series and is still with him.

We got Aidan’s simple cameo in the movie “Sex and the City 2” as Carrie came across him on the other side of the world, but there’s no reason she wouldn’t come across him. Fly around New York City.

I’m not saying Carrie needs to come back with Aidan in the new series (although some of us like it altogether), but Aidan is always smarter than Carrie. As light-years were mature, I might be able to give her advice on life, or something like that.

Louise from St. Louis (Jennifer Hudson)

In the first “Sex and the City” movie, Carrie hired Louise from St. Louis as a personal assistant to help Big regain her life after leaving her on the altar. Jennifer Hudson was great in the series, so why not bring her back?

Sure, Louise returned to St. Louis at the end of the movie, but perhaps she could go back to New York City to shop for her purse, and she and Carrie could drink coffee. Louise can also tell Carrie that the bag Carrie brought to her for Christmas was the ugliest purse ever made.

Enid Flick (Candice Bergen)

Carrie’s very rigorous and nonsense “Vogue” editor Enid Flick was a great supporting player who has always appeared throughout the series. It’s great to see her come back to the new series.

It’s not surprising that Carrie is still a “Vogue” freelance article, so perhaps Enid can pitch Carrie the article she wants her to write. Enid also made a cameo appearance in the first “Sex and the City” movie. Moreover, Candice Bergen is such an iconic actress, so it’s great to see her on TV.

Courtney and Lily (Amy Sedaris and Molly Shannon)

When Carrie thought her column would be canceled, she learned that the publishers of the two books wanted to turn her column into a book deal. The two publishers were played by Amy Sedalis and Molly Shannon.

It makes sense for Carrie to still publish a book, so why not bring a little cameo from Sedalis or Shannon? Both are very cheerful actresses, so it’s welcome to meet them at the show.

Bill Kelly (John Slattery)

Before John Slattery went back in time to play Roger Sterling in “Mad Men,” he was one of Carrie’s boyfriends and didn’t last long.

If you remember, Slattery played a politician who was running for some local office in New York City. Carrie was never with Bill (remember what he did in the shower?), But it would be fun to see the slattery at the new show.

Perhaps he is the current Mayor of New York? I could completely see Miranda not like him and wanting to challenge him in his reelection campaign.

Victoria (Jennifer Coolidge)

Does anyone remember when Jennifer Coolidge appeared in the “Sex and the City” episode?

The iconic actress played Victoria, a girl’s friend who took advantage of the pain of a recent farewell to create a new purse line. Sure, the purse wasn’t that cute, but Coolridge was, of course, cheerful in its role.

Jack Burger (Ron Livingston)

Who can forget the guy who broke up with Carrie on post-it notes?

Burger may have taken the cake as Carrie’s worst boyfriend, so why not put him back in a little cameo so that he can finally tell him how bad Carrie was for her? That would be the sweet revenge she was always looking for.

Lexi Featherston (Kristen Johnston)

Splat!

Now, socialite celebrity Lexie Featherston has fallen from an open window and died in the only episode, so technically he can’t go back for a reboot, but the character is so symbolic and Kristen. Johnston is a wonderful actress who fascinates you I wish she came back.

Lexi was a friend of a girl at the time, so maybe there was a flashback in the early 90’s and can you see her partying with the girl? That probably won’t happen, but if so, how much fun would it be?

It is unknown when “And Just Like That” will air. Are you watching when that happens? Please let us know in the comments below.
