Spoiler warning! Below are details from the April 7th episode of “Masked Singer”, including the identities of unmasked celebrities.
And we’ve arrived at the “The Masked Singer” Group B Final!
But Black Swan, Chameleon, Crab, and Piglet weren’t the only ones who fought to move on to the next round. Another wildcard, the bulldog, was introduced to shake the competition for songs. And that wasn’t the only source of the drama. After the crab sang, he was dressed and overheated and needed a break to cool down. (See below for details.)
Once again, Niesy Nash has taken on Nick Cannon’s hosting business since it tested positive for COVID-19 in February. The detectives in the series – Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke – all attended to scan the clues package for hints on the challenger’s identity. They also received insights into what each competitor considered a meaningful item after their performance. This is how everything went down.

Black Swan soars with song selection
clue: Disguise reminded Black Swan that he was about to enter show business. “When I first started my career, I was worried about how my appearance would be perceived,” she said. “So I sent a faceless audition that was judged solely by my talent.” The physical clues to the package were the three “10” scribbled on the side of the mailbox, the fall foliage, and the backpack in Montana. Patch was included.
On stage, Black Swan showed her vocal range on Whitney Houston’s “How Will I Know.” Then she explained the importance of unicorn sculpture. “This is to commemorate one of my best friends. He’s a great singer who died and is no longer with us,” she said.
Guess: McCarthy thought of “Hannah Montana” actress Emily Osment, and Chic suspected “Victorious” star Victoria Justice. Chung bet on “The Suite Life of Zack & Cody” actress Brenda Song.
Piglet sheds panelists in tears
clue: Piglet paid tribute to his woman’s love in his clue package. “Someone unexpected appeared and turned my life around,” he said. “Thanks to her, I am now a family member and have brought a whole new purpose to my life.”
His chosen song, Lukas Graham’s “7 Years,” performed a voice reminiscent of Nick Lachey, or a voice reminiscent of this disguised celebrity. (Rashey, we firmly believe it is Rashey!) Piglet’s rendition reminded me of my 18-year-old son, Evan, and made McCarthy cry.
Piglet’s meaningful item-a dog tag and a necklace with the letter “P” -is a 98 degree rashey for the athlete, as the singer previously talked about how meaningful his dog tag is to him. I just confirmed our suspicion.
Guess: But the panelists thought about other boy banders. Shelzinger speculated that Backstreet Boys Kevin Richardson and McLean were thinking of his bandmate AJ McLean. Chung raised former One Direction member Zayn Malik.

The crab begs for a break: “I can’t breathe”
clue: As a little harbinger, Crab shared in his clue package that his outfit was “difficult to breathe.” Looking back on my childhood, when I saw my mother preparing dinner, I remembered my passion for cooking flourishing.
On stage, the club version of Rick James’ Give It To Me Baby was praised. When Shelzinger praised his performance, the competitor asked for a break.
“I have to take this off,” he said, breathing violently. “Take off!” He repeatedly begged before getting off the stage. “It’s hot! It’s hot!” He said behind the scenes. “I can not breathe”
As he cooled, the club returned to the stage and presented Sammy Davis Jr.’s black bowler hat. “I respect him so much that I wore it as much as I could,” he said.
Guess: McCarthy was originally thinking of comedian Martin Lawrence, but then she was suspicious of backtracking “my pre-logative” artist Bobby Brown (I think we can lag behind). Masu). Brown has previously written about rocking a bowler hat and learning to cook from his mother. Chung speculated that the crab could be Boyz II Men’s singer Shawn Stockman.
Chameleon wears a mask for his child
clue: Part of the motivation for chameleons to participate in the “Masked Singer” comes from their desire to impress his “little chameleon”. He said, “I changed his wild way to become a superhero ninja for kids. I decided to reduce parties and practice martial arts.”
Chameleon explained the implications behind the hot wing after showing off his rap skills during Dead Prez’s “hip hop” performance. “Well, if anyone knows me, they know I’m always cooking something in the kitchen,” Chameleon said.
Guess: Shelzinger suspected that the person behind the disguise was “No Hands” rapper Waka Flocka Flame, and McCarthy might have come up with “Bloody Valentine” artist Machine Gun Kelly. But guessing the “black and yellow” rapper Wiz Khalifa is chic, which we think is going in the right direction. The artist also has a restaurant with chicken wings on the menu.

Bulldog rushes into competition
clue: “I ran as fast as a human torch and moved around all the green fields with a panther and pitbull,” said the bulldog. He also revealed that he was “technically the sexiest dogs and people alive.” The bowl labeled “Super” hinted at the athlete behind the disguise.
The bulldog chose to sing a new edition of “Candy Girl” dedicated to Nash. The song allowed celebrities to show off their pipe and dance moves as they pretended to cross the stage.
His meaningful item – a sign that says “And … live from New York, Saturday night!” – Communicated Bulldog’s dedication to the Big Apple and humor (or simply his love for “SNL”).
“My kennel is in New York,” he explained. “I love comedy, which I love to live in.”
Guess: Chung got the feel of “Rush Hour” star Chris Tucker. McCarthyism initially thought of comedian Eddie Murphy, but also mentioned the stand-up comedy Chris Rock.
(Bull) Dog Day is over, but Mike is back on his paw
Nash started an exclusion round by discarding the vote. She said she was the one who chose the athlete to remove the mask. She chose a bulldog to identify him.
And, to say the least, it was clearly symbolic. The celebrity under the bulldog mask was none other than Nick Cannon, the host we were missing.
“I dedicated my entire performance to you (and) you’re going to kick me off!” Cannon told Nash after revealing.
“You are really a queen, and while you were struggling for me during my illness, you set foot for me,” he thanked her. “Thank you so much for seeing you doing amazing things and shining here. Thank you very much.”
“I love you, my friend,” Nash replied.
“You were great!” Chung said. “well done!”
“You also threw your voice wonderfully,” Schick praised.
