Kamtalbot made the best 40 saves of the season and 3 shootouts as Minnesota Wild visited wasted a slow lead before scoring a 3-2 victory over New Jersey Devils on Wednesday night in Newark, NJ. The shot has stopped.

When Edmonton won in Glendale, Arizona, Leon Draisaitl and Connor McDavid each scored two goals with two assists.
McDavid’s first assist was the 400th in his career in 426 games and the fourth fastest of its milestones in NHL history. Zack Kassian also scored a goal for the Oilers, who scored 24 saves from Mikko Koskinen.
Clayton Keller had a goal and two assists in Arizona. Shayne Gostisbehere and Travis Boyd also scored, and Scott Wedgewood made 39 saves.

Rangers 4, Islanders 1
Chris Kreider and Kevin Rooney each scored two surges in the New York Rangers in their first match between rivals at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, the new home of the New York Islanders.
Igor Sheschokin made 20 saves for the Rangers, who won 6 out of 7.
Andy Andreoff, one of the many reinforcements sought after the islanders lost 10 players due to injury and COVID-19, took him in almost four years for a host who lost seven games in a row. Scored the first goal-all in regulation-franchise up to 2010-11 consecutive defeats in regulation.
Avalanche 5, ducks 2
Nazem Kadri scored goals and assists, Kale McCarl, Alex Newhook, Valerie Nichushkin and Nicholas Orb Couverture also scored, and Colorado beat Anaheim six times in a row in Denver.
Gabriel Landeskog assisted twice, and Jonas Johansson stopped 19 shots to rescue Darcy Quemper, who had experienced equipment failures in two consecutive games.
Sony Milan scored both ducks goals, Jamie Drysdale scored two assists and Josh Gibson scored 31 saves. Anaheim lost three games in a row.
Blue Jackets 3, Jets 0
Gregory Hoffman scored a winning goal in the first period, and Elvis Melzlikins collected his first shutout of the season to give host Columbus a shutout victory over Winnipeg.
Zach Werenski and Andrew Peeke also scored for the Blue Jackets, who won four out of five games. Merzlikins made 36 saves for his eighth shutout.
Connor Hellebuick made 29 saves for Jets, who lost four games in a row, the worst of the season.
Maple Leafs 6, Kings 2
John Tabarés, Orston Matthews, and Pierre Enbal each had goals and assistance to visit Toronto.
Alexander Carfoot, Jason Spezza and Michael Bunting also scored, Rasmus Sandin assisted three times and Jack Campbell made 30 saves in Toronto, winning 12 out of 14 times.
Sean Dirge scored goals and assists in his NHL debut, Viktor Arvidsson also scored, and Jonathan Quick made 32 saves for Kings, who lost five consecutive games in seven consecutive victories.
Kraken 2, Hurricane 1
Markus Johansson scored a tiebreaker goal at 16:52 in the third period, and Philip Grubauer defeated Carolina with 35 saves to host Seattle.
Jared McCann also scored in Seattle. Seattle have won two consecutive victories against the power of the Eastern Conference after losing six games in a row. Kraken snapped the skid on Sunday, beating Washington 5-2.
Brendan Smith scored Carolina’s only goal. Carolina lost twice in a row and fell to 3-1-1 in six games. Frederik Andersen stopped 20 out of 22 but Hurricane dropped out of Thailand with Florida due to the NHL’s best record.
Shark 6, Senator 3
Timo Meier scored a winning goal in the middle of the third period, leading host San Jose over Ottawa and winning the three-point game.
Matt Nieto, Thomas Herttle, Nick Bonino, Logan Couture and Jacob Middleton also scored sharks that won two games in a row. Goalkeeper James Limer made 26 saves.
Josh Norris, Brady Tokachuk, and Connor Brown scored for Senator. The senator has lost three games and has only won one in the last 10 games (1-8-1). Matt Murray stopped 23 shots.
Golden Knights 5, Predators 2
Chandler Stephenson and Markstone each had goals and assists, and Robin Lehner made 26 saves, leading Vegas to a victory in Nashville.
Alex Pietrangero, Jonas Rondojag and Adam Brooks also scored the Golden Knights. The Golden Knights won a two-game road trip split that lost 5-2 in St. Louis on Monday.
Filip Forsberg played for the first time after missing nine games due to an injury to his upper body, scoring two goals in the Predator’s and finishing with 30 saves for Jusesaros. Nashville has recorded four consecutive home wins.
