14 year old boy shot According to police, on a city bus in Harlem on Thursday morning.

Police said the teenager was getting on and off the M1 bus on East 139th Street and Fifth Avenue just before 10am.

Police said he chased the boy in the street near his house before the shooter fired.

Off-duty NYPD officer allegedly shot a partner in a tangled love triangle

He is taken to Harlem Hospital and is expected to recover.

A man suspected of being a shooter was found fleeing the scene, police sources said.

It was the latest in a series of violence involving a young New Yorker.

Just last Thursday, a 13-year-old boy was allegedly shot in the knee at a Bronx basketball court by another 13-year-old boy.

A post-mortem analysis of NYPD data found that at least 21 children were killed with guns or knives between January and September 30. This is more than three times the number for the same period in 2019 and 2020.
