Heavyweight boxer arrested for ‘trafficking 22 tons of cocaine worth $1 billion to US’

“The seizure of $1 billion worth of cocaine was a major blow to Gogic’s criminal network, but none was as heavy as last night’s arrest,” said DEA Special Agent Frank Tarantino III.

“As this case demonstrates, criminal gangs use a variety of means to profit from the sale of poisons.

“Twenty tonnes of toxic substances were seized en route from Colombia to Europe through hard work by local, state and federal law enforcement.

“Gorgic’s arrest underscores law enforcement’s commitment to bringing those responsible for causing the most harm to our community to justice.”
