Paxton said the settlement with JUUL included restrictions on marketing, sales and distribution. Limitations included:

  • Prohibition of Marketing Targeting Youth
  • In-store displays and access restrictions
  • Online sales restrictions
  • retail sales limit
  • Age verification requirements for all sales
  • Retail Compliance Check Protocol

Paxton also said the settlement includes provisions to protect the settling country in the event of future bankruptcy.
