Miami coach Manidias isolated from coronavirus

Coral Gables, Florida. – Miami coach Manny Diaz said on Friday that he had been quarantined after testing positive for the coronavirus. He effectively works with the 12th Hurricane until he can return to the field.

Miami has no plans to play again in Wake Forest until December 5th. The hurricane is scheduled for the game this Saturday and November 28th, and has postponed both earlier this week due to a coronavirus issue.

“I tested positive for COVID-19. I’m currently isolated and feel good overall,” Diaz tweeted. “I will effectively continue to work with our team while preparing for the next match at Wake Forest.”

The hurricane is third at the Atlantic Coast Conference, 7-1 overall and 6-1 in the league. They have won each of the last four games, including a 25-24 comeback win at Virginia Tech last weekend. Miami “was in jeopardy,” said Diaz, who chose not to play the game because the roster covered so many cases of coronavirus.

“We were really reducing the number of attack lines,” Diaz said after the game. There his five first attacking linemen played all 86 snaps without substitution. “And you know, it just makes it harder to practice and harder to do anything.”

He is the latest major college with the COVID-19 test released on a list that includes Dan Mullen in Florida, Mike Nobel in Florida, Jeff Broome in Purdue, Kevin Samlin in Arizona, and Les Miles in Kansas. I became a football coach. Alabama coach Nick Saban also tested positive, but didn’t miss the match after the results were later considered false.

Earlier this week, Diaz said he believed that the number of coronaviruses “really, really badly reached” nationwide. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than one million cases of coronavirus have been diagnosed in the United States in the past week alone, and the CDC has reduced and participated in Thanksgiving trips to Americans, coupled with the surge in hospitalization rates. I urged you not to. A large gathering with people from outside the family.

“What we know is that there is no problem with the coronavirus in college football,” Diaz said on Monday. “There is a coronavirus problem in the United States.”
