Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) Said Republicans would continue to oppose raising debt limits. McConnell’s comment came out on Tuesday. Many are worried that if debt limits are raised, Democrats could push the party’s $ 3.5 trillion spending package. McConnell said the Democrats are constantly insisting that they want to do things without Republican support, except in the case of debt restrictions.

Democrats were able to raise their debt limits by including legislation in their party spending packages, but both Senator Chuck Schumer (DN.Y.) and Senate Chair Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) I opposed this option. After all, the only way Democrats can raise it is with bipartisan support.

Still, Democrats continue to question why Republicans disagree. But McConnell said the real problem wasn’t because it “doesn’t have to be done”, but because of the extreme spending agenda of concern.

“Democrats in Washington have spent trillions and trillions of dollars on pet liberal projects. They’re wasting money pruning for tomorrow, and as a result, American families are hurt. “I do,” McConnell emphasized.

In addition, Senator Rick Scott (R-Fla.) Reaffirmed his opposition to increasing US government bonds, saying US taxpayers were unwilling to pay it. Scott told reporters Tuesday that the Democratic Party’s proposal to buy government bonds was stupid in the confrontation over raising the debt cap in Congress.

Scott seems to suggest that future political uncertainties could reduce the value of US Treasuries. Senators had previously criticized what the Democrats called “the agenda for reckless taxes and spending.” Scott also emphasized that US taxpayers do not support the Democratic Party’s fiscal proposal.

“They don’t understand why the federal government can borrow money, borrow money, and keep borrowing money when it can’t do it in their personal lives? And why the federal government doesn’t, and why the Biden administration doesn’t care about this inflation that’s happening, “Scott said. “Gasoline prices go up, food prices go up, cars go up, and the Biden administration doesn’t do anything about it.”

On the other hand, if the funding law is not passed by the end of September, the government may face a closure.
