Lost luggage leads to a man stabbing a bus driver, a security guard at the center station, police said

SAN ANTONIO – A passenger, upset by the loss of his luggage, vent his anger on a Greyhound bus driver and security guard, according to San Antonio police.

Officers responded to the station in the center of Greyhound, located on the corner of North St. Mary’s and East Martin, just before 3 a.m. Tuesday.

A sergeant at the scene said the man stabbed the bus driver in the back as he was leaving the bathroom.

A security guard tried to intervene and the man stabbed him in the chest, police said.

The bus driver, in his 60s, and the security guard, in his 50s, were taken to Brook Army Medical Center in stable condition.

The suspect, in his 30s, was arrested shortly after the attacks. He has been detained and is expected to be charged.

His name was not disclosed.
