Oklahoma City – LeBron James misses the Los Angeles Lakers playing Oklahoma City Thunder on Wednesday night due to pain in his right ankle.
James was injured by defeating Memphis on Sunday night and missed the Lakers’ victory in 125-121 overtime in San Antonio on Tuesday night.
Malik Monk was set to start on behalf of James. Monk scored 17 points against San Antonio, giving the Lakers a 114-112 lead and four out of ten three points, including one with a regulation of 58.6 seconds remaining.
Lakers coach Frank Vogel said Anthony Davis will play. Davis was listed as suspicious with pain in his right knee. He had 35 points and 17 rebounds against the Spurs.
