Arizona coach Cliff Kingsbury clears the COVID-19 protocol and becomes a bystander when the undefeated Cardinal plays Houston.

Kyler Murray is trying to lead the Cardinals to the first 7-0 start since 1974, 14 years before the franchise moved from St. Louis to Phoenix. Arizona’s defensive end, JJ Watt, will face the Texans for the first time after playing against the Texans for the first ten seasons.

Kingsbury’s positive COVID-19 test was announced two days before Arizona played for Cleveland last week. Murray threw four touchdown passes with a Cardinals 37-14 win.

Arizona quarterback coaches Kam Turner and defensive harness Zach Allen also missed last week due to the coronavirus protocol.
