Kathy Hilton explains why she left the restaurant wearing a tablecloth

Kathy Hilton is open about her tablecloth couture moments.

Earlier this week, the paparazzi snapped a “real housewife in Beverly Hills” star going to dinner at a very luxurious Los Angeles restaurant in a pink plaid dress. When she left the restaurant a little later, Kathy was no longer dressed, but rather a white tablecloth was shaped into a Toga-like dress.

On Instagram Live, a reality TV star talked about her sudden restaurant-like look, saying she was overheating at a charity event with her daughters Nicky Hilton and Paris Hilton.

“It was incredibly big turnout, incredible, overwhelming and very exciting. It was crowded,” she said. “It was so hot that I actually participated in the auction for two hours and stood on the stage. I was roasting, roasting and roasting.”

“I didn’t have the opportunity to eat Coca-Cola, water, wine, or anything else because we were busy selling, selling, selling, and making money,” she added.

The party was Christmas-themed in September, so Kathy dressed up that part in a pink dress made of wool.

“Everything was literally sticking to me,” she said.

At dinner, a friend suggested she cool off by taking off her dress and shaking Craig’s tablecloth. Kathy liked the idea of wearing it “like a salon in Southern France”.

“I’m very witty. By the way, I also had a lot of extensions, and I unsnapped all the extensions … I didn’t have any fans.”

After the video, Nicky commented with a few emojis, saying, “You are a very witty mom …”.

Paris meditated, “It’s hot. You’re too funny! I love my mom.”

“It’s a creative wardrobe transition and may set fashion trends,” commented friend Elliot Mintz, who was with Kathy at dinner.

As the kids say, “It’s called fashion, check it out!”
