Johnson & Johnson announced on Tuesday that a new study shows the two doses.Vaccines provide stronger protection against illness.
The booster, which was boosted two months after receiving the drug’s single-dose vaccine, was 94% more effective against the coronavirus, the company said.
“Our single-dose vaccine produces a strong immune response and long-term immunological memory,” said Dr. Matai Mamen, global director of J & J’s Janssen R & D division, in a statement. “And given the boost immunization of Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine, the defense against COVID-19 is even stronger.”
This is a developing story.
