According to TMZ, Gillian claims to have hired a company called Flat Rate Moving and Storage to move cross-country from Los Angeles to Miami in early June. She claims that the company received the item in March and stored it in a Miami facility. But she claims that some of her clothes, tools and outdoor furniture were missing when everything arrived. After all, she estimated that the asset was worth $ 30,000.
In addition, Gillian says that about 80% of the items that actually arrived in her new home were damaged due to careless packaging on the part of the moving company.
Miami police are investigating claims for stolen goods, and Gillian has already hired a lawyer and is reportedly planning to file a civil suit against the mover.
A moving company representative told TMZ: .FlatRate Moving is in constant contact with Michaels and his representatives and is confident that a friendly solution will be reached. “
