First Lady Jill Biden will go to the Walter Reed Medical Center on Thursday after stepping on something during her stay in Hawaii last weekend to take steps to remove things from her left foot.
Biden spokesman Mike Larosa said, “Last weekend, before two official events in Hawaii, the First Lady stepped on a beach object caught on her left foot.”
“She will take steps to remove the object at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center today. The president will join her,” Larosa said.
The president left the White House on Thursday night after 7 pm and met First Lady at Walter Reed.
“I’m late for a very important date,” he told reporters when he left.
