San Antonio – The word “first come, first served” was one of the first people to use the reservation-free COVID-19 vaccine alongside the Alamodome on Friday morning.
The city of San Antonio has begun offering clinics without reservations as a way to encourage more people to take shots.
“It’s difficult for people who don’t have a computer,” says Roberto Lerma. “I tried to make a call before, but I made more than 400 calls, but it didn’t work.”
Lerma has been waiting for months for a chance to roll up his sleeves.
He and many others who were there were happy to be able to simply line up for vaccines without having to book online.
Shots are available to anyone over the age of 16.
Dragarcia appeared on the second shot with his 20-year-old son, Ruben Gonzalez.
